When we requested medical records from Tennova North, the hospital’s and their holding company’s agents refused to turn over records. They concealed drug testing and renal failure records from us, and my husband has kidney injury now.
In 2024, we had a mortgage lined up because the property we were renting was being sold, and we had to either buy the property, or be out by April 1, 2024. However, by March, the hospital sent the bills to collection, while refusing to turn over Wesley’s medical records. Our pre-approved mortgage was reduced so much that we didn’t qualify for a house. We were out bid by more than $40,000 on the property we had been rending.
We tried for raw land, and the same thing happened. We offered $3,000 more than the asking price, but someone offered more than $20,000 above the price. We kept getting out bid, and then we had less than a week to move with nowhere to move to.
We were able to get a $4,000 loan from our bank, but even that turned out to be a challenge. All the campgrounds had waiting lists, and every camper we could afford was sold before we could get something. We ended up with a very old, and very damaged camper.
We have had a temporary camping spot for two years, but it’s going to become a parking lot, so we have to find a different camping spot by winter (2026). We’re hoping to afford some land, then we can move our camper on property that we garden, feed hummingbirds, and have a stable place to live.
Willow Nook gets its name from the willow tree in front of our camper, and we are going to duplicate this camping spot when we find land.
